The site is a greenfield site situated in St Clears. Carmarthenshire, West Wales, on the junction of a main highway in West Wales. West Wales is considered an area of outstanding beauty and is the only coastal national park in the UK. The coastline is a major draw to tourists, in 2011 National Geographic Traveller magazine voted the Pembrokeshire Coast the second best in the world. Detailed consent was received for the construction of two drive-thru restaurants (McDonalds and Greggs) and a service station under Phase 1. This has now been completed.
